If you’re coming from the south, you must get to the Tore Roundabout that lies just 7 miles northwards of Inverness (that is if you are following A9 route to Kessock bridge). At Tore roundabout, take the first exit (A832) where you’d see the signpost that will lead you to Glen Ord distillery at Muir of Ord. When you get to Muir of Ord as shown by the signpost, move straight to the junction and just after crossing the railway bridge, take a left turn. Walk for just 0.75miles and you will get to Glen Ord distillery.

If you’re coming from the north, take the Thurso-Inverness route and travel along A9 to the roundabout that is not far south of Alness. There is a second exit that opens up to a signpost that reads Dingwall. Follow the route on A862 till you get to the next roundabout and then follow the 2nd exit that reads ‘Maryburgh and Muir of Ord.’ when you get there, take a right turn before you get to the railway bridge and you should see a signpost that reads ‘Glen Ord Distillery.’

If you’re coming via aeroplane, stop at Inverness airport and drive for 35 minutes to the distillery.

If you’re coming via railway, the Muir of Ord station is just in the heart of the community and when you get just over the railway bridge, you’d follow a sign that reads ‘Glen Ord Distillery.’ It is just a 10-minute stroll.
