Glen Scotia Distillery

Called just ‘Glen Scotia’, the  Glen Scotia Distillery was established in 1832 and is amongst the smallest whisky producing companies in the country.

Campbeltown has only 3 distilleries that are still functioning. This Glen Scotia is one of them. It rose up to repute in the 19th century when it was solely for blending whisky throughout the mainland. However, all of its blends have been stored to be used for single malt whisky.

The management of the distillery has put so many things in order like a new visitors centre so now tourists can come and enjoy the scenery and learn the history of the distillery.
