Description
Tucked away in the in the remote Hebridean island is our distillery, Isle of Raasay Distillery. The tiny island is home to about 160 people. They have dedicated several years and efforts into the transformation of the ‘Victoria Villa’ which hasn’t been put to use in ages and using it as the first legal distillery on the island in Scotland, the Isle of Raasay Distillery.
The distillery makes carefully brewed scotch whisky garnished with a mixture of malt and they are produced in small batches. The mineral water used is obtained from an on-site Celtic well.
Besides being one of the oldest and pioneering distilleries in Scotland, the Isle of Raasay Distillery can be seen as one of the most beautiful distilleries in Scotland.
