Lindores Abbey Distillery

One of the few distilleries that let you visit with your pets. The  Lindores Abbey Distillery takes whisky lovers back into time – the early beginnings of whisky making.

Although the visitors’ centre of this distillery was opened in 2017, due to the 10 million dollar renovating cost of the site. You will find items and relics that signify the earliest days of whisky and the foundation of this site.

The distillery has 3 stills put in place and several other exhibitions spaces detailing the heritage from the Tironesian monks and the coast of  River Tay.

This space was a land owned by Earl Huntington and was developed in 1192. Also has hosted many royal bloodlines, including William Wallace.
