Springbank Whisky Distillers

Springbank Whisky Distillers is arguably one of the oldest privately owned and managed distilleries in the country – as a matter of precision, it is the oldest. The distillery has gone on to create a notable record of having all the process of whisky making in its very premises – floor malting, maturation and even the process of bottling the products.

The distillery is laid out to the south of the Kintyre peninsula.

There are three major brands of scotch whisky that are produced in this distillery – Longrow, Springbank and Hazelburn. Like several other distilleries in the country, Springbank offers whisky enthusiasts with a vast selection of tours for sightseeing and to capture the production process involved in the delivery of the much-loved drinks.

In Campbeltown is where the company’s tasting room is situated and here you can treat yourself to the variety of whiskies and can also purchase any quantity you might want to take home.
