The Borders distillery was first given operational license in 1837. The distillery uses the renovated Victorian building that situated in the heart of Hawick for its activities. You would see a lot of the heritage of the site as the management did their best to protect the original features of this distillery.
A tour of this site is to gain insight into the history, processes and a taste of the old and mature single malt whisky that The Borders make.
